What is Indonesian Online’s Return and Refund policy?
As all of our courses contain downloadable items. Therefore, regrettably we cannot offer returns or refunds.
What is e-Learning?
eLearning, also spelled e-Learning, refers to learning that utilizes electronic technologies to access educational curriculum outside of a traditional classroom. In the case of indonesian-online.com it refers to interactive computer-assisted language learning courses that are delivered completely online.
Who created the eLearning materials?
«The Indonesian Way» was created by Dr. George Quinn (Australian National University) and Prof. Dr. U. Kozok. Both of them have over 20 years of experience teaching Indonesian in both in-class and online settings, and they hold a PhD in Indonesian studies. Other materials were created by a team led by Dr. U. Kozok, consisting of experienced language teachers who are native speakers of Indonesian and specialists in second language acquisition from New Zealand and Hawai’i..

The materials are for what levels?
Our Indonesian language courses provide access to high-quality e-learning materials for learners of all levels. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an advanced speaker, we have relevant eLearning resources for you. Check your proficiency level and find recommended materials here.
How much content is included in the materials (pages, hours of learning, etc.)?
The course materials amount to approximately 4,000 pages in total, along with many hours of audio and video content. These materials are designed to provide approximately 550 hours of language learning.
Do I need to purchase any software or hardware?
No, you don’t need any additional software apart from what is available on any modern computer, tablet, or smart phone. All you need is Internet access. All our e-learning materials are based on HTML5, which is the latest major version of HTML. Click here for more information.
Can I access the eLearning course materials on mobile devices?
Yes. All our materials are responsive and can be used on Android and iPhones, and of course also on tablets
In what format are the e-Learning materials and what media are involved?
In most cases we have used a dual approach: the Indonesian language eLearning course materials can either be accessed in traditional form as a printable book in pdf format or you can access them online with interactive exercises.
The following table gives you an overview. Column 1 provides you with the difficulty level. Column 2 contains the name of the textbook/resource. Column 3 indicates the approximate amount of learning hours. Column 4 lists the mode of delivery. Column 5 shows the kind of material. Column 6 indicates whether the Indonesian language course materials are focused more on formal (f) or on colloquial Indonesian – ccff means that colloquial and formal Indonesian are equally weighted. Column 7 shows how many audio files are used. 1 star means that only a few lessons use audio materials, 4 stars means that there is an abundance of audio recordings available in almost every lesson. Column 8 indicates how many videos are used (1 star=a few, 4 stars=many). Column 9 indicates how many graphic files (graphical images, photographs etc.) are used (1 star=a few, 4 stars=many).
