This is a gem of a course. It has both the interactiveness of an app and the academic rigour of a textbook. To have a structured way to go from absolute beginner to advanced, while paying sufficient attention to grammar, slang and culture, is very valuable.

The indonesian way enables you to study at your own speed, both fast and slow. There’s enough repetition of vocabulary in the courses alone to learn most words without long and tedious study. The sound files are great and I personally think the substitution drill is absolutely brilliant.

I have tried a number of different online Indonesian programs and this is the best one I have used by far. This program is great for busy people who can schedule their own time to learn the Indonesian language. I highly recommend the Indonesian Way as a great tool to learn this interesting language.

I really like how the lessons are set out, the order by which you learn the grammar rules and the use of informal and formal language from the outset.

Plenty of content, but it is quite difficult to keep track of what lesson has been completed and get an understanding of how you are going. Additionally, and perhaps this is because I purchased this some time ago, it appears a lot of the relevant content for me is not included in my membership.

This is a great tool for learning Indonesia. The variety of exercises make it easy to learn to read, write, and understand Indonesian. The cultural notes are very interesting, as well.

I find this course absolutely pivotal in learning Indonesian. The quality of the course has been excellent so far. I would recommend this to everyone who has an interest to learn the Indonesian language.

I just finished module 2 and I think it would have been good if the additions like mem- and ber- in verbs would have been explained. I kind of missed that in this module.

I have been studying with the Indonesian Way for some time and it has been quite helpful when I travel to Indonesia to visit friends and family. I find the course is very clear and provides more than some others I have looked at as it brings in information about Indonesia and Indonesian life.
