«Baca Yuk!», our intermediate Indonesian course, has been updated. Before, there was only one single Anki (flashcard) deck. Now, that «Baca Yuk!» has grown to over 30 lessons, it was time to rearrange the existing Anki deck. Now, you can revisit the previous learned vocabulary after every four lessons. Instead of one, we now have nine Anki decks. Every deck contains approximately 80 vocabulary items that you can revisit after every four lessons. With nine Anki decks available, Baca Yuk!» can boost your vocabulary by adding almost 700 new items. Anki is a flashcard program employing the spaced repetition technique that helps you spend more time on challenging vocabulary items, and less on what you already know.
«Baca Yuk!», but also «Aneka Baca» are our follow-up courses to «The Indonesian Way». Both are intermediate level courses, and we encourage those who have completed «The Indonesian Way» to use both courses concurrently. The two courses follow different approaches, and the typical user may benefit by using both courses.
«Pak Bei» is based on a cartoon series developed by the late Masdi Sunardi. The first lessons are quite easy, and those who learn using «Baca Yuk!» and «Aneka Baca» may benefit by incorporating some «Pak Bei» lessons into their schedule.
Then there is also «Anak Jalanan», which you may want to start using once you are halfway through «Baca Yuk!» and «Aneka Baca». All of our courses are very different, and many learners may benefit by using two or even three courses concurrently.
